The Robinson R22 is a single-engine light helicopter tourism, two-seater and two-bladed rotor, successfully used as a helicopter school.

Designed in 1973 the Frank D. Robinson, designer and owner of the company that bears his name, the U.S. Robinson Helicopter Company, was introduced in 1979 and is still in production. Thanks to its ease of handling make it a popular basic trainer making it the most widely used model in the world by schools for helicopter flight.
